Microsoft’s Edge web browser is based on Google 's Chromium open-source project: The tech giant is now reportedly planning to add a new feature to its Edge browser that supports cross-platform syncing. According to a report by The Verge, Microsoft is testing a new split-screen feature for the Edge browser. This feature will allow users to compare two different tabs side-by-side.
